We are Canopus- the brightest star in the southern constellation of Carina- and the second brightest star in the night-time sky.
Canopus is the brain-child of Mr. Ashok Kulkarni– an enthusiastic, passionate, energetic, hard-working and determined Technical Textile Expert. He has pursued B.Sc, FTA in Textile and C.Text FTI from Manchester. He is also a member of the Expert Panel of ITAMMA.
With over four decades of experience in textile / technical textile and non-woven industry, his research background enables him to continuously innovate and come up with better products for evolving customer needs. He has established many globally advanced plants with updated technologies that produce premium quality products. He has successfully provided his services in the European markets as well to brands like ALDI, Mothercare, AS Watson, Boots/Walgreens, J&J, Kmart, Woolsworth, Walmart, CVS, T.J.Morris ,Action, Walmart, Wilko, Spar, to name a few.
With Mr. Ashok Kulkarni at the helm, Canopus is driven by the expertise of other board members namely Mr. Shankar Sharma, Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma and Mrs. Ashwini Kulkarni. They form the core of Canopus.
Mr. Shankar Sharma has business running in his blood. He is a part of the group that boasts of businesses more than 200 million USD, across several companies and businesses in the country.
Mrs. Ashwini Kulkarni is a commerce graduate and Master in Business Administration in Finance. Having worked with Infosys and WNS as research analyst, she led the team to perfection. She has also been instrumental in acquisitions and mergers with her previous organizations.

Be it taking care of your baby’s skin with soft wet wipes or cleansing your face and being ready for the next presentation while on the go- we get it all covered.
Being in the industry for just 2 years, Canopus has already supplied Private labels to US, Europe and far East and received laurels and accolades from all over the world (which proves our mettle). All our wet wipes are manufactured in clinically and dermatologically tested ways. We make sure that equal care and technology goes in the process so as to make sure that we deliver premium and superior quality wipes as against all the other wipes available in the market. All our wipes are quality-checked and approved by governing and authorized bodies. They meet all the national and international regulations and standards to make sure that our users get only the BEST!
